Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Odoo Functional Developer with a strong financial and analytical background to lead and support the full-cycle implementation and onboarding of Odoo ERP projects. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of managing end-to-end successful Odoo deployments, translating business needs into technical solutions, and providing expert post-implementation support, especially for finance, sales, procurement, and reporting modules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of Odoo ERP, particularly Finance, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, HR and CRM modules.
- Analyze, design, and develop customized solutions and enhancements within Odoo to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams to gather and refine specifications, workflows, and reporting needs.
- Customize and configure Odoo standard modules based on user feedback and operational needs.
- Develop strong financial reports, dashboards, and analytical tools within Odoo.
- Ensure successful onboarding of users through training, support, and documentation.
- Identify risks, troubleshoot technical issues, and propose long-term solutions.
- Integrate Odoo with other API based platforms as required.
- Continuously monitor the performance and usability of the Odoo platform and recommend improvements.
- Provide technical and functional support for end-users post-implementation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Odoo Developer with demonstrated end-to-end project delivery.
- Strong understanding of financial processes (GL, AP, AR, budgeting, forecasting, reporting).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business analysis skills.
- Proficient in Python, PostgreSQL, XML, and Odoo Studio.
- Experience with Odoo v14 and above (Odoo v17 is a plus).
- Good grasp of database management and integration techniques (APIs, web services).
- Experience in user training, change management, and documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, priorities, and deliver within tight deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Certification in Odoo (preferred)
Preferred Attributes:
- Previous experience working in distribution, trading, or retail sectors.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and ERP compliance standards.
- Exposure to Agile project management methodologies.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive in solving business challenges.
- Ability to translate non-technical requirements into technical solutions effectively.
